Here in San Diego one of my young friends has been volunteering through San Diego Mutual Aid, ***all-volunteer grassroots group operating in Kumeyaay territories**** Link:
She’s been shopping and delivering to seniors and helping in other ways.
Here is her FB post:

If anyone needs food or other items delivered, please fill out our form. You do not need to pay for these groceries-This is what mutual aid is about! We got you. (through other generous donations from the community)
Furthermore if you’d like to provide monetary donations to aid in this work please do so by clicking on group.
(I’ve been using gloves and sanitizing my car and phone in order to protect the elderly/those with health conditions that leave them vulnerable to viruses and bacteria.)
For the rest of us who can go to the store for ourselves: remember that food is medicine! Get those veggies and fruits! Get those herbs! Get those unsalted nuts and dehydrated fruit! Get those herbal teas! Look up holistic ways to support the body and mind! 🍵🌿
I should also add that I think we are all going to be just fine, and will suffer more from isolation and business closures than from any virus 🙂 (Just my opinion! No need to get mad 😉)
She has also been taking car loads of items for refugees in Tijuana every week!
